Simple DIY | Macrame Plant Hanger

Houseplant lovers, meet this simple DIY macrame plant hanger. You’ll just need some cord, 0.5-1 cm thick, and a little bit of patience. This simple pattern can be modified to fit both smaller and bigger pots. Use a shorter strand for smaller pots and vice versa.

Cut 4 pieces of the cord, approximately 1-1.5 meter long. Gather and fold in half.

Make a loop and a tie a knot. Leave a 20-30 cm gap. Take two strands and tie a knot. Repeat 4 times, making sure that the knots are at the same level.

Leave yet a 20-30 cm gap and cross strand 2 and 3, 4 and 5, 6 and 7 and tie a knot at each in the same level. Finally tie strand 1 and 8 together.

Tie all strands together with one big not, leaving a gap at approximately 10-15 cm. Trim the tassel. Done!
